About Us

Footloose Dance and Gymnastics is a family owned business: owned by Cassie Ludtke-Willey her husband Mike and three adorable girls Trinity, Maizie and  Elsie. Cassie started her dance training at the age of four, and she is devoted to the art of dance and gymnastics. She was asked by one of her former dance coaches to assist in teaching at her local studio at age fourteen. She continues to learn and grow by taking classes with master teachers, attending seminars, and staying current in techniques in the dance and gymnastics world. She managed to dance, cheer, teach, and attend college at the Shenandoah University’s Conservatory Dance Division. Upon graduation in 2006, she established Footloose Dance and Fitness Studio in Purcellville, Virginia, now renamed Footloose Dance and Gymnastics Studio. Loudoun County has been the home of Footloose for the past 19 years...until now!

Our Footloose family is thrilled to make our move to Berryville VA, at our NEW location: 20A. East Main Street. With its new name Footloose Dance and Gymnastics. Were excited to start our adventure in Berryville as its a home away from home a wonderful place to be with beautiful parks, artistic stores, coffee shops and restaurants. We cant wait to take part in this beautiful community in hopes to participate in the Berryville Christmas parade and in other local community events.

Footloose is focused on FUN! We are a recreational dance and gymnastics studio not competitive in competition dance or gymnastics. Footloose students have gone on to make many life long friendships and dance/study at various Colleges and Universities many have been on dance teams at the local High Schools and College level. Footloose is devoted to each and every students and believes in giving them every opportunity to grow as dancers, gymnasts and individuals.

"As I continue to grow and learn from all the wonderful people around me, I also enjoy every moment in the dance and gymnastics studio teaching the dancers and gymnasts of today. I have a passion for teaching: it is in my blood. I am so happy I have the opportunity to do both every day. I have always dreamed of having my own dance studio, and now that dream is a reality. Please come and join me in my new adventure at FOOTLOOSE DANCE AND GYMNASTICS and share my love of dance and tumbling."-With Love, Miss Cassie
